FAQ
Questions & answers
Is Prayer Times really free?
Yes. The extension is completely free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no account required.
Which browsers are supported?
Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox today, and an Edge version is on its way. It also works in most Chromium-based browsers, such as Brave, Opera and Vivaldi, through the Chrome Web Store.
How accurate are the prayer times?
Times are calculated on your device for your exact coordinates with the method you choose. There are 26 methods, including Türkiye Diyanet, Muslim World League, ISNA, Moonsighting Committee and Umm al-Qura, and the results are checked against independent references. With the Diyanet method, the official Diyanet timetable is used.
If your local mosque follows a specific method, pick the same one in the settings.
Do you collect my location?
No. Your location is saved only in your browser so the times can be calculated. We don't collect it and never see it. See the privacy policy for details.
Can I set my location manually?
Yes. If you'd rather not share your location, or want the times for another city, choose any place on the map in the extension settings.
How do I get support or report a problem?
